| Wally and the Paupacks formed in the early spring of 2007 during a chance meeting by Fred Garvin and Noodles. A Local Music Showcase brought them together and after finding they shared roots in the Long Island music scene (Noodles is a founding member of NY's Sorethumb; Fred has performed with bands such as Wired, The Dave Payton Band and Vision), they quickly decided to start a band.
Wally and the Paupacks have found their home at many local venues including Ehrhardt's, Molly Branigans's and PNC Field's Stadium Club to name a few. |
Critically Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter / Multi-Instrumentalist Rick Horvath is one of the busiest musicians around the East Coast area. Noodles, as he is affectionately known, has been a familiar staple on the East Coast music circuit since his teens. He is a founding member of Sorethumb, a band which dominated the 1980/1990's tri-state club circuit.
As one of the top live acts, Sorethumb performed over 2,000 shows, including appearances with The Romantics, Jimmy Buffett and Mick Jones of Foreigner.
He is currently performing his Acoustic One-Man Band Shows promoting his latest CD "Mango
& Lime Fiesta" and also an upcoming CD "COMING HOME", scheduled for a Dec 2006
release. |
